In addition, topically focused working groups hold conference calls on a regular or ad hoc basis to review progress and interim results, assure proper coordination, and more.

DOE has established national working groups to address cross-cutting issues among the regional partnerships. Several WESTCARB personnel are members of the DOE working groups.
