Alternative Fuel Vehicles
For over 20 years, BKi has been a key part of the movement to
put new, alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs) on the road. We help
assess the impacts and benefits of these vehicles and develop
strategies for promoting their market adoption.
For example, we've led studies of fuel cell and natural gas vehicle
commercialization needs for automakers, fuel producers, and state
and federal agencies, helped the California Energy Commission
evaluate AFV infrastructure statewide, managed two nationwide
electric vehicle demonstrations for the Electric Power Research
Institute (EPRI), and helped Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E)
introduce heavy- and light-duty liquefied and compressed natural
gas vehicles.
